Laundromat Epoxy Flooring Canton Mississippi

Wow, what a transformation that took place in this laundromat. As you can see from the photos the floor was pretty ruff and needed a lot of love. We started by performing a moisture test on the slab to insure it was a good candidate for epoxy flooring. Concrete needs to meet a specific moisture level to insure any coating installed will stay bonded. With a passing test we moved forward with the project and started by completely diamond grinding the entire floor with two of our 800lb grinders. Proper preparation of the concrete is 90% off the install. We then filled in all the cracks and divots and applied a layer of grey polyaspartic base coat, a layer of flake and then a thick layer of clear polyaspartic to lock in the flake. With garages and environments with chemicals present we always use polyaspartic chemical instead of epoxy because of its resistance to chemicals and UV. This floor will now be a safe and easy to clean area for this laundromats customer for decades to come.
